Children, up to age 17, are invited to participate in Mayor Desiderio’s 2026 Beach Tag Art Contest, which is now underway. During the contest, four unique designs will be chosen for Sea Isle’s 2026 beach tags (Seasonal, Winter Holiday, Saint Patrick’s Day, and Veterans). Each child who participates must choose one of the four categories, and then can submit only one piece of artwork based on that category. Submissions can contain no more than four colors. All artwork must be submitted on an official contest template and accompanied by a contest entry form and a signed waiver, which can be found on the left of this page, in the lobby of City Hall, and in the Sea Isle City Welcome Center. Entries can be mailed or hand-delivered to the Tax Collectors Office, City Hall, 2nd Floor, 233 JFK Boulevard, Sea Isle City, NJ 08243. All entries must be received by Friday, August 29, 2025. Beach Tags are required for ALL BEACHES from Memorial Day Weekend to Labor Day, 10am to 5pm. Tags are required for everyone 12 years and older (Wednesdays are FREE BEACH DAYS, except on July 4).

2025 Seasonal Beach Tags
2025 Seasonal Beach Tags are now on sale at therate of $30 each. Seasonal Beach Tags are available at the Welcome Center Monday-Friday from 9:00am to 4:00pm and On Saturdays & Sundays from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM, and Monday through Friday at the Tax Office in City Hall from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM. They can be purchased online at www.jerseycapetags.com and shipped to your home. Digital Beach Tags are available via the “My Beach Mobile” app (more information below). 2025 Beach Tags Dates to Remember
April 1 = The Welcome Center’s Beach Tag Office will be open 7 days a week until Labor Day.
April 1 = 2025 Veterans Beach Tags will be available at the Welcome Center.
April 1 = Those who purchased 2025 Seasonal Beach Tags using the city’s “Post Card” mail-in system can pick-up their purchases at the Welcome Center.
May 15 = The pre-season beach tag rate expires, and the cost of beach tags increases from $25 to $30.
May 23 to Labor Day = Beach tags are required on Sea Isle City’s beaches for all beachgoers age 12 and older, every day except Wednesdays, 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
