2026 BEACH TAG ART CONTEST

Children, up to age 17, are invited to participate in Mayor Desiderio’s 2026 Beach Tag Art Contest, which is now underway. During the contest, four unique designs will be chosen for Sea Isle’s 2026 beach tags (Seasonal, Winter Holiday, Saint Patrick’s Day, and Veterans). Each child who participates must choose one of the four categories, and then can submit only one piece of artwork based on that category.  Submissions can contain no more than four colors.  All artwork must be submitted on an official contest template and accompanied by a contest entry form and a signed waiver, which can be found on the left of this page, in the lobby of City Hall, and in the Sea Isle City Welcome Center. Entries can be mailed or hand-delivered to the Tax Collectors Office, City Hall, 2nd Floor, 233 JFK Boulevard, Sea Isle City, NJ 08243. BEACH TAGS

Beach Tags are required for ALL BEACHES from Memorial Day Weekend to Labor Day, 10am to 5pm. Tags are required for everyone 12 years and older (Wednesdays are FREE BEACH DAYS, except on July 4).

2025 Seasonal Beach Tags

2025 Seasonal Beach Tags are now on sale at therate of $30 each. Seasonal Beach Tags are available at the Welcome Center Monday-Friday from 9:00am to 4:00pm and On Saturdays & Sundays from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM, and Monday through Friday at the Tax Office in City Hall from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM. They can be purchased online at www.jerseycapetags.com and shipped to your home. Digital Beach Tags are available via the “My Beach Mobile” app (more information below). 2025 Beach Tags Dates to Remember

April 1 = The Welcome Center’s Beach Tag Office will be open 7 days a week until Labor Day.
April 1 = 2025 Veterans Beach Tags will be available at the Welcome Center.
April 1 = Those who purchased 2025 Seasonal Beach Tags using the city’s “Post Card” mail-in system can pick-up their purchases at the Welcome Center.
May 15 = The pre-season beach tag rate expires, and the cost of beach tags increases from $25 to $30.
May 23 to Labor Day = Beach tags are required on Sea Isle City’s beaches for all beachgoers age 12 and older, every day except Wednesdays, 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Fees and Charges

Daily - $10         Weekly (Sat.-Sat.) - $15             Season - $25 if purchased by May 15, $30 if purchased after May 15

Digital Beach Tags Via My Beach Mobile

• Digital Beach Tags are available via the “My Beach Mobile” app using a debit or credit card (a fee will apply). Weekly or daily tags are completely digital (using your smart phone). Seasonal Tags can be digital or if you prefer a physical tag you can purchase them through the app and pick them up in person at the Welcome Center after April 1st during business hours. Detailed pickup instructions will be available in the app after purchase. Weekly and seasonal tags are transferable but can only be accessed on one device at a time. You can also store multiple tags on a single device for convenient management.  All purchases are final.  Digital badges cannot be traded for physical badges. Beach Tag Vending Machine

• You can purchase Seasonal beach tags any hour of the day or night. Sea Isle’s new vending machine, located in the lobby of City Hall, 233 JFK Boulevard, and is assessible 24/7. The vending machine accepts cash only (ones, fives, tens and twenties) - please use exact change.

Beach Tags for Active Military and Veterans

• In Honor of their Service
• Branches of service include: United States Army, Navy, Air Force and Marine Corps, Coast Guard and the National Guard.

Active Military

• Complimentary "weekly" beach tags will be issued for qualified active duty military personnel and their family members.
• DD1173 (Identification and Privilege Card) must be presented.
• Military personnel, spouse/civil union partner and dependent children age 12 years and older.
• Qualifying active military personnel must be present at the time of request.

Veterans

• One complimentary veteran beach tag will be issued per qualified veteran (valid for the entire summer season).
• DD214 (Discharge Papers and Identification) must be presented.
• Any veteran who has served and was released through honorable discharge with at least 90 days active duty or released from active duty by reason of a service incurred injury or disability.
• Qualifying veteran must be present at the time of request.
• Veteran tags are only available at the Beach Tag office starting April 1st.
• Active military and veteran beach tags are not transferable.
